We spend a lot of time with these guys. The end result of an abandoned cat breeding home (when the tenants moved out, they simply left the cats).

Long story short. We fed, befriended, fixed, then fell in love with them.

I write what I see or what I think about as we care for them. Their stories are applied to pictures and hopefully we can share some of the happiness they bring us to everyone.

That’s an impressive amount of certainty about a life he’s never lived.

He doesn’t know whose hand the man has held, what he’s lost, who he’s loved, what he’s given, or what he’s done when nobody was watching.

Yet somehow he’s appointed himself qualified to measure another man’s humanity.

That’s the irony here.

He wrote an entire paragraph about compassion while demonstrating none.

He wrote about love while using it as a weapon.

And he condemned someone for thinking only of himself while never once considering that he might be wrong.

If this is his demonstration of what it means to be human, he may want to choose a different example.

If I set up a Patreon where I posted both versions—the raw poetry exactly as I originally wrote it, alongside the finished version after I used the language learning model to polish it up—would you be interested enough in seeing that process to subscribe?
