I would have done the same thing, except the asking chatgpt to write it part, actually kinda sounds like fun

I don’t use maps often but what’s been going wrong in Google maps? I know whatever Uber/Lyft was using was having a hard time keeping up with local changes (bridges being shut down for months would stay on every driver’s directions), they’d switch to Google to get an accurate map

I’m not sure, I’m sure every state is different too. May have to get around the sovereign immunity as well. It isn’t impossible, as their are usually clauses that bypass it but Texas may have very few

Nah that admits they may have been at fault for something, much better to counter sue and make the people of Texas pay possibly billions of dollars in stupid lawsuits that they will have to look at their government and say what the fuck, we knew that was bogus

Yeah like if Johnson and Johnson counter sued Texas for their bet worth saying they are intentionally trying to smear and kill their company. It would be like $450 billion.

Yeah sorry I meant spotlight, smartlook is another tool I was thinking about for a different company. (Intuit, unrelated screen sharing I got the names crossed in my head). And yes Tahoe is the product that has those features.

Mail, Messages, Notes, Phone, Photos, Reminders, Safari, Shortcuts are all being integrated. That’s outside of the whole image creation, integration into smartlook (basically windows search), and whatever else I can’t think of at the moment. The one good thing I’ve seen is that you can turn it off. But it does scan your text to provide synonyms, summaries, rewordings… And that’s just what it shows when I click intro.

Nah we have it blocked in our management profile at the moment. We didn’t want to deal with figuring out what could go wrong with it as particular updates come out so we just blocked it from all the work machines.

I mean MacOSX put AI in the OS, Siri, and all their apps as well so I can’t really see how the change would be do to AI. Privacy maybe

The fact that they say the facility will increase to be able to produce 20-30 jets a year in a couple years means to me it’ll be what, 8 years before they have an order of 100. Thats a long time when you’re already at war

Yeah how exactly do they expect to sell twice as much product to a population that doesn’t have jobs/money to buy it.

Yeah I was going to say it depends on what other food is available. If none, 11/day may be enough to keep me going for a few months. Won’t be healthy, but I could make it a few months just do to fat reserves lol

So can I sue my parents for circumcision now? Or rather sue the U.S. government for allowing genital mutilation to children. The rate for adult males in the U.S. is around 80% of the population, and new borns is declining quickly. About 100 million men.
Let’s say we sue for $100,000 a piece, which I would consider a low settlement for a government allowing mutilation of its population. What’s that… $10 trillion dollars or so?
I figure they would claim the department of health isn’t a basis for legitimate information to warrant a legal case.

True, they could be outside of their jurisdiction or new. If it were a bomb I wouldn’t want to stop it though, call for backup, let’s see a helicopter and a SWAT/Bomb squad show up to stop a Waymo, lol… That new guy would never live it down.

Yeah there is zero chance they pulled over a Waymo expecting there to be a drunk driver in it unless they were just harassing people without even looking at the vehicles .

“Sir, what’s that on top of your car, and are all these extra devices normal?”
If it were a Tesla that doesn’t have any equipment that makes them safe enough for the roads, I could believe it because they look the same as a normal Tesla.

How can the U.S. say China is preparing for an invasion of Taiwan if they openly state they believe in “One-China,” aka Taiwan being a part of China. We need to start calling Taiwan a sovereign nation if they want to sell that as anything other than a transport of equipment to their own property.

Ugh, if they make it 10 I’m going to have to hope for 2 more to make things nice for the statistics.
100% of them were bad for the common person Huh, maybe it doesn’t matter after all.

And to think they retired in 2024. 4 decades of no sobriety

Pretty sure he could say that he knew Putin put the effort forward to get him elected in 2016 because he would be a better help to Russia and would hurt relations with the west and a lot of people would immediately say it was the right thing to do just because he did it.
In 1969 we didn’t land on the moon, the moonlings landed in the desert and exchanged a flag with us. They all believed in communism utopias so Admiral Horatio Nelson told them they had to fuck right off this rock and not come back.
