I have to believe they profiled her and thought the odds that she isn’t a threat was to high. Basically, “is this person secretly a Democrat trying to sneak in and ask disagreeable questions or record things we say and post them online?” Then they looked at their “who is likely to not agree with our agenda list” and her skin color and sex didn’t match up with the majority of their voter base.

This sadly reminds me of one of the days I “ruined my life”. My base degree was aerospace engineering but my main focused more comp/sci towards the end. When the houthi/u.s engagement restarted a company here in the states took a contract to change a $1,000,000+ “smart” missiles to a “smart” firing system that launched ~$10,000 munitions. I quickly saw where this was going and how fast we were progressing and also saw a request for how it could be refitted for strike instead of defense. I left the next day. Didn’t have a job lined up. Found something at nearly 1/3 the wage 2 months later. Still felt better about my decision having eaten near nothing and scrapping by.

About 6 years ago we were sitting on the beach and a larger wave came in out of nowhere that went say 20-25 feet further up the beach to where we were sitting, I grabbed her and my phone and said ruh-roh as she realized and stood up, didn’t have time to grab the small Bluetooth speaker we had and it got soaked and I grabbed it a few seconds after as the wave retreated. It isn’t a term I say often, but I think it was something I did back in my early twenties when there was the possibility of kids being around. Instead of yelling “oh shit” my 37 year old brain decides to sound like a cartoon dog.

Sure, but that’s not what the policies are for. If/when someone gets injured on the job the policy is standardly they require you to take a drug test then. If you fail you were breaking policy and the injury is deemed your fault, thus taking all responsibility of paying you workers comp off the table. Happens every day across the U.S. (that said I believe you can fight it, as you aren’t always automatically eliminated if you fail the drug test, you will have an up hill battle though)

Yeah they are quite hardy. Have ordered on 2 seperate occasions, all arrive healthy. When a chick is born they essentially consume the yolk which will allow them to go a couple days without needing food/water. Being a live shipment you usually pick it up at the post office, so it doesn’t have to get trucked around all day. (Also meaning you can grab them as soon as they are supposed to be there and get them all settled in under a heat source and food/water quickly).

Yeah I don’t think there is a direct event that points out to the people that the government had been using events to grasp more power and dissolve power from senate, as it had been done prior to start of the serieis. One could argue this was clearly shown in the prequels. The prequels show over reach, false flag attempts, the assassination attempt, and use of order 66 to claim the Jedi order was the enemy and he needed wartime powers. True, also the hall is lit with floating candles according to the source material. I imagine most of the castle should be relatively dark. Unless they want to say the candles are similar to bright LED lights, the whole thing should realistically be darker when inside. (Albeit the roof was supposed to be some magical protection varying with weather?)

Yeah, many I’m sure are bots, others I think schedule posts as well because I assume they figure if the site is more active around the clock it is more likely to gain users over time.
