The F-35 without an F-22 mission profile is to sneak into radar range, trigger AIM 174s from the super hornets behind it to clear enemy air assets and then get into range for it’s air to ground payload; drop that and light the afterburner to go home. At no point is it envisioned willingly dogfighting.

State level actors are capable of providing those updates themselves… That update is the mythical off switch they talked about and it’s absolutely sensational bunk.

For anyone not reading the article he is specifically talking about any troops Ukraine has left in the Kursk region as there has been a general pullback into Ukraine from Kursk in the last few days. This is not about the wider peace negotiations.

Putin doesn’t have the entirety of the two provinces he’s claiming. He wants the entirety of the two provinces for a couple reasons. First it gives him a domestic win. Second it screws the Ukrainian defensive lines. Right now they are situated in a way that Russia has to fight through towns that Ukraine can fortify to make them costly. If they use the province borders, they’re relatively arbitrary and Ukraine’s line of defense has to be set up further back, where they can force Russia into towns again. This favors Russia because in a couple years when they finish rebuilding their military they can just take the next area and tell everyone they get to keep that in the next ceasefire.

Possible, and harmless to Russia since Biden’s administration sanctioned pretty much everything they could already. I will not be surprised though if Trump announces he’s relaxing sanctions based on a promise from Putin to consider future negotiations.

Waiting breathlessly for Trump’s announcement that Zelensky is unwilling to talk peace and Putin is a victim…

Honestly yeah, if a paperwork fuck up can get you detained for more than 24 hours there’s something seriously wrong and travelling there is dangerous for the border police alone.

I guarantee you they do not care. This is far more likely to be media bias. If they’re detaining her for an incomplete visa instead of just turning her around then they’re detaining people every day, no matter their nationality or body build. It sounds cool to think they’d be afraid of a large guy but the US police are sadly just more likely to kill them with guns.

People need to stop treating this like team sports. If a party does not represent you then don’t vote for them. It’s really that simple.
