And there’s the simplification. I called out Jordans behavior as a moderator and dealing with criticism as a moderator being a bad influence on the Fediverse. Him constantly rolling up in particular threads to try and defend himself by lying, spreading misinformation and generally being a menace. PugJesus did the same type of shit so severely he was banned from this community. Both of them were called out as harming the fediverse by acting like petty reddit mods. Am I a moderator? Yep. Did I do anything on my communities to these dudes in response to them doing anything? Nope. Because I’m not willing to do the same thing they are. But this dude has been going around and being a toxic troll to literally everyone and not every fire you use water for. Some fires you fight with more fire. Other ones? You just laugh because the fire can barely threaten itself.

Because I called him a whiny bitch in an unrelated matrix channel. The ban was timed to about the same time that I made that comment. He’s got such a fragile ego that he had to create an alternate matrix account and hide in the background watching people talk about him so he could fuel his own anger. So sad lol

I could not care less what Serinus has to say. He got uppity when I first made the JL post not due to the content but because I didn’t warn him. When he found out that I had told the admins he backed off. The only reason to inform him is because he’s on the same community team that Jordan was just kicked off of. Dudes attempting to do damage control for his friend. He can keep whining all he wants. He just isn’t important enough to even be on my radar.

I remember when they made that announcement post about Luigi. I explicitly said that I disagreed with their decision and would not remove anything fitting their description on my communities. Also said if I saw any of it removed I’d just reinstate it. That never sat well with me.

I left reddit for lemmy. I did not leave reddit for reddit 2.0. I couldn’t do anything about that other site but I sure as fuck can do something about it here. Even if that’s just throwing memes at a new community and making a couple of posts on YPTB.

Effectively it was “The rules we have implemented do not allow us to remove him at this time” despite the rules they pointed out being rules that Jordan 100% violated. Publicly. They then said they’re going to look through his stuff on the Community Team and see if there was any bad actions there and if so take further action. They expect its going to end here.
