I just skimmed over the text. That’s just a lot of words for saying “no ai”.

Personally, I like debian’s approach more. They put some granularity of levels as to when and how much ai assistance can you take.

But I can totally see that void, being the profile of users and devs they got, would prefer to be way more radical.

Are they? All my friends in their 30s have more than one app. Or had it, when they were single.

What has really been dying for quite some time is “third spaces”. That’s what we need to get back really, beyond dating. Just plain socializing and enjoying togetherness.

yeah, and actually all those platforms have been shown on different opportunities to have a bot problem and it’s still unaddressed because it’s basically a conflict of interests to them (numbers go up : stakeholders go happy.) That’s basically how I’ve been drown to Lemmy (and before, other ‘niche’ forums, irc channels, etc.)
