It might be possible to get into output wirelessly, it has a dedicated radio for video output so presumably if you just stuck an adaptor into your TV you could just cast to it. Could be quite a nice setup if you wanted it to be able to connect to both your computer in the study and your TV in the living room.

Oh yeah, and and they would mostly be terrible, except one brand no one has ever heard of but, it’s apparently a big name in China, and called something like Zloks would inexplicably be the king of that particular niche product.

I hate the Wi-Fi remote thing. My TV has a Wi-Fi remote and it runs off of AA battery and they last about 4 days and then run out. If I hadn’t replaced them with rechargeable ones they would have probably had to open a new landfill site just for my old batteries.

As much as I agree I think it would have been a bad move for them to do that. The devices success is already highly dependant on its price, which is still in flux as far as I understand, there is no reason for them to make the decision even more difficult.

It’s got DP as well though so it’s not all that bad. We really should be pushing manufacturers over to DP anyway.

Formal logical operators require the you to press the alt key and enter a numerical sequence on the keypad. If I had to type the logical operators with alt codes it would slow me down.

No it’s because you can’t type the not equal symbol very easily. If you type it it won’t work because most compilers aren’t expecting it.

Everyone in any position of authority in Russia is on the take. This means that the capabilities of the Russian military is purely theoretical, on paper Russia is a formidable force, on paper.

They sent troops in without equipment, without ammunition, and without supplies. Not because they didn’t think they would need ammunition and food but because someone nicked them all back in 08 and everyone in the military is too scared of Putin to tell him this. If anyone in the Trump administration had any brains at all, this would have been obvious from the outset.

The only people who can see advantage to Ukraine seeding territory to Russia, is Russia. Everyone else involved can see what a monumental tactical error that would be. Especially since everybody knows the only reason Russia is even at the negotiating table is because they are desperate, given that is the case, there is zero reason to capitulate.

I wonder what Israel’s long-term plan is. Because if they achieve their objective and wipe out Gaza then they’re going to be international pariahs for pretty much the rest of history.

Regardless of what governments made decide there is going to be extreme social pressure for businesses to not work with them, and the thing is they represent such a small market it isn’t worth the inevitable boycott doing business with them would result in. The Israeli government have to know this, civilians living in Israel must know this, yet here we are.
