There is a entry lane onto 94 north of chicago where the speed limit is 70 mph but every single person wants to merge at like 45 mph, but then they will keep on accelerating (slowly) to like 100 mph and pass you. I fucking don’t understand.
genx genderqueer awkward dork :)
I love making weird sounds, here’s some of my music: https://etherphon.bandcamp.com/

The stuff up there right now is a tad old, but it is some music that deals with my struggles with my realizations about my gender, thus some of it is a little difficult and discordant. I’m working on some more joyous music.
I previously joined lemmy under the name etherphon, I was a lot angrier before I made peace with myself so if I made some comment to you or offended you in some way I do apologize.
I love synthesizers, all sorts of music (mostly electronic), b/cult movies, science fiction, DIY, graphics design, PC hardware, retro computing (Commodore <3), cooking, singing.

Ya keep it around, maybe we can see if he wants to wrestle a grizzly bear sometime.
Absolutely but I wonder if they appreciate the irony.

Finally figuring out that the feeling I’ve had all my life that something just wasn’t right was me not being honest with myself about who I was (gender and sexuality wise), despite being a lifelong cheerleader for everything counter culture, has done wonders for my empathy and given me a needed boost.
Says the bumper sticker on the giant ass pickup truck who blocks your entire view and always drives 5mph below the limit.

Lots of hope honestly I suppose, still, somehow. Working on music, spacing out to music, reading, cycling, basking in the sun or staring at the clouds, watching what the animals are doing, a bit jealous of their simple life, cooking up a good meal, psychedelics (though not so much lately), weed, gratitude everyday.
I’m in the midwest and the shit is an epidemic already, I’m not going to yuck someone’s yum but there has to be a limit to what people are allowed to drive on the road, those giant trucks are so unsafe, you can barely see anything over the hood unless it’s 20 ft in front of you.
