Ageism is a thing in many places. Just look at how much crap old people get for existing, and how much people of all ages consider their own age group as some kind of validating identity.

The liberal left attacking each other (and skipping out on Election Day) is gold to conservatives and fascists. They are likely encouraging this behavior to continue. It’s worked well for them in recent years.
