Everything in the Bible is the Word of God. If he didn’t agree with such a consequential thing, then this verse, chapter and/or book would not be in the Bible. That’s how it works according to the book itself.

It’s not a compilation of books by people disagreeing with one another, where you’re meant to choose which old white dude you agree with on various topics.

The fact that there are contradictions present in the Bible isn’t a feature, it’s something you’re supposed to pretend doesn’t exist.

If someone prefers Omarchy’s defaults, setup or workflow, that’s enough of a reason to use it.

And if I find out they’re a Nazi, that’s enough reason not to. And in this case there’s so little friction and it’s so simple to not use it, that it’s a no brainer.

If I can avoid supporting a Nazi this easily, without altering a single noticeable thing about my life, it would be irresponsible not to.

There is a level of friction associated with changing anything like this for ideological reasons, and everyone has to have their own ways of deciding which ones are worth pushing against, according to them.

“Avoid the Nazi that puts out a slightly modified version of Arch,” is just a no brainer. It takes no effort or energy whatsoever to avoid having that in your life.

And if people really think Omarchy has become some political project, then fork it.

There’s literally nothing to fork. From what I understand, it in and of itself, isn’t even distinct enough from Arch to be considered a fork.

And how about we stop discouraging people from standing by their values?
