Right, I find even making an argument like that to be incredibly revealing. “Damn so I did dialectics and it turns out the course of action that benefits me is the most correct one! What a coincidence!”
I mean it’s an accurate assessment of tipping, it is a fucked up bit of labor culture that lets the bourgeoisie get away with underpaying certain specific classes of already marginalized workers, but it’s like. You can’t just have the analysis and do nothing about it. Not tipping just because tipping is fucked up is actually worse than doing nothing about it because it’s making things actively worse for the worker!
I’d say trotsky deserved an ice pick lobotomy solely for this
