I got one years ago when they still were a lot cheaper and I must say it’s the best one I ever had. It’s powerful and so quiet that I can leave it running next to my bed when it’s hot.
I have the opposite experience, have ypu tested competition at the same price level? IMO they’re overpriced fragile plastic products with a very good marketing…
I mean now it doesn’t matter anymore when you’re satisfied, but before buying these overpriced fragile plastic stuff, I would at least test it against other fans. And surprise - almost all other fans work better and are cheaper, especially similar priced ones…
And what kind of fan could you get with that money… Pretty sure I could get an industrial one that exchanges most of the air in my house in minutes or even seconds.
Smaller fans = more noise
And why isn’t a regular fan getting the “surrounding air” to move too? Is there a subscription for that?
It’s most probably dyson bullshit (the moved extra air is slowing the original air down, or it’s magic) marketing.
Magnets!
The air thing is real physics. It does “work”. It just isn’t very useful in this application.
Yeah don’t understand the hype for dyson, for (almost?) every category they have a product for there’s a higher quality product for a lot less money.
They really seem to have perfected their marketing…
The products are not even high quality, thin fragile plastic everywhere…

You’re right, it doesn’t matter
How much?
What?
HOW MUCH?
(Did you pay)
I don’t really remember, it’s been years. I think it was somewhere between 100-150€.
So 3-5 times a normal one… Kind of not cheap IMO, but if you like it…

I didn’t say it was cheap, I said it was worth the price.
