if at all possible just get Frank Miller to write it again and you’re off to the races

He did write Robocop 3 though. I like watching these kinds of (now old) movies, it’s interesting to see what people thought the future would look like. Now we know how it’s panning out, I’m not sure I want to see a remake that closely follows the originals.
