If a government solely relies on competant politicians it’s a government that won’t last.
You mean that it’s bound to fail if it assumes that all the politicians are competent and acting in good faith?
I agree COMPLETELY. And the perfect example of THAT would be the antiquated constitution and kakistocratic government of the US.
