Car brains are crying about surveillance instead of realizing their own culpability and destroying all cars.
Flock spys on people too, not just cars.
And protesting civil rights violations is hardly ‘crying’ about it.
I’m having a hard time trying to figure out what op is complaining about.
The private surveillance state is a problem for everyone, it has nothing to do with cars.
Totally don’t approach it from out of it’s line of sight and cover it up with something, that would be rude.
cover it up with something
Suitable things to cover the lens of a camera like this include chisels, picks, mattocks, and thermite.
I heard those cameras are weak against the elements, especially the wind
Must’ve been the wind
I just discovered solar powered mesh networks (Meshtastic/Meshcore if you want to look it up for yourselves). Its amazing whats possible. Turns out that flock and Amazon/Ring use similar tech already for their evil purposes…
At least if it’s like this, one diligently obscure it.
Isn’t that used to get your car plate when you speed past to make it easier for the cops to fine you?
That’s not what speed cameras look like, typically, but maybe it’s a new thing? Normally you also see signs saying there’s a camera ahead.
Right? Never seen a mobile speed tattle sign have a speed camera on it. A quick search around and that certainly looks the same shape as a lot of Flock cams.
