They do actually have that innovative tech. Or Close enough, at least. I used to have the same issue. I had razer, Logitech and zowie mice. All had the same issue after 2-3 years tops. Until I stumbled upon the razer naga pro in 2020 which had some optical switches. 6 years later and it’s still going strong.

Same, somehow my naga is on like a 5year run now before it couldn’t even reach end of warranty
I’ve been using my naga for maybe 3-4 years now and still zero issues.
