I had that problem with my mx 400 after using it for many years. Found a lifehack on YouTube where you put a piece of cardboard inside the mouse on the switch somewhere if I remember correctly. My daughter still uses that mouse. It’s an easy fix that should work with any mouse basically. I think I fixed that one around ten years ago and it’s still going strong.
