      Some people are aided in their struggle with cheese by learning that your gut transforms casein, the protein in cheese that makes it curdle, into casomorphin, a substance that works in your brain in a similar manner to dopamine, making cheese literally a physically addictive substance. Knowing that you don’t just really like cheese, but that your love of it is likely being amplified by an actual addiction pathway, is often a more focused target for people to would like to one day “get clean” of it for oh, whatever reason.
