So glad they only ever make shit games. Might pirate a new Mass Effect tho, but I expect the game to flop and the series to die after.
The series is already dead to me. Bioware that we know is long gone.
I posted about this in another thread, but “Exodus” made by Archetype studios, is comprised of some of the Mass Effect devs from Bioware and it comes out next year. It looks to do what Mass Effect did. I’ll support them for sure since they are a smaller studio trying to keep the spirit of Mass Effect alive even if it is with new characters and worlds.
Did that not already happen after Andromeda? I thought it was okay but I remember a lot of people not liking it.
I’m a diehard ME fan and completed Andromeda in its entirety and thought it was completely soulless character/story-wise. The gameplay mostly consisted of running back and forth across the map to retrieve items.
The original trilogy had an incredible story and incredible characters. The followup game, not so much. IIRC the studio abandoned the game pretty quick in order to work on their next release which further ruined Andromeda.
Edit: I’m also curious what this means for games that may have content deemed inappropriate by the Saudi royal family. Will all EA games be censored like the famous sex scene in ME?
