It had a nice little cafe too, its not like they won’t make money on people buying a few coffees and snacks as they read a book they might not buy.

A god compromise could be to have one unwrapped copy for display and browsing purposes and all other copies are wrapped, so you can use the unwrapped copy to read through a few pages and then grab a wrapped copy for purchase
