He said he would not vote for Trump again, adding: “This is like the Gestapo.”

He couldn’t vote for trump again anyway (yet)! Why not ask him if he’d vote for republicans again? Come on.

Conservatives/regressives love tossing their reps in the trash heap of history once they legally can’t vote for them anymore.

      “I never knew the guy.”

Rest assured. He’ll vote for the next one.

They like hierarchies and suck up to power. Once someone’s either a lame duck or out of office, there’s nothing to be gained from fawning over them anymore, so they drop the act.

Please consider retiring the “r” word. It’s hurtful to the folks that term is used for, and there are so many other alternatives that don’t cause harm. <3

If they can vote, they can handle being called as they are in their way of thinking or not thinking.

I’m referring to those with cognitive and developmental disabilities, many of whom still have a medical diagnosis of “mental retardation”. “Retard” is an epithet that comes directly from hate speech against those folks.

And it’s unfair. My wife and I both have worked with that population. She taught her students Shakespeare. And lest you think they didn’t learn - they clearly understood the material and discussed it intelligently.

They might learn many things more slowly than the rest of us humans, but the absolutely learn.

And they absolutely know the “R” word, and know it means them.

So when you use it, you are causing harm to innocents who do not deserve the hatred.

That’s why I humbly request you consider different word choice.

Please don’t play coy and pretend to misunderstand.
