Study led by researchers at the Bloomberg School of Public Health finds boys circumcised just after birth did not have a higher risk of autism compared to uncircumcised boys
I used to piss my aunt off when I was a kid and she made us go to church by arguing that if a being created a species and knowingly chose to endow them with free will and minds so that each member of the species could do whatever it chose based on it’s own understanding, desires, and personal values… and then after a lot of them decided to do things it didn’t like decided to genocide the species and give the few survivors rules that if they spent their time adoring it and loved and worshiped it above all else it would give them eternal bliss, but if they chose to not do that it would condemn them to eternal torment… then worshiping that being as a God seems like it should be considered a moral and ethical abomination.
It’s clearly shown itself to be so self obsessed and uncaring about the lives of any other being that it was willing to wipe out the bulk of the life on a planet just because it wasn’t getting it’s way. Worshiping it out of fear that if you don’t you’ll be tormented eternally if you don’t and/or out of the hope that if you do as told you’ll really get eternal bliss is throwing away your own moral and ethical compass and agreeing to follow something clearly evil and uncaring because it threatened you or in exchange for the hope of personal gain for yourself.
The God of the Bible isn’t a caring or just being. If someone believes the Bible is a true and accurate, then the God it describes has done evil on a scale nothing else in history comes anywhere near.
… I guess it makes sense why so many who call themselves Christians are so obsessed with spreading evil and making others suffer.
