Taylor Farms said on Sunday it was recalling prepared food items containing jalapenos from retailers, including Walmart, Kroger and Whole Foods in some states.
Don’t get me wrong. Take the warning labels off (looking at you prop 65), but when someone else is literally financially encouraged to taint food, it’s a good thing to have oversight.
Maybe some kind of audit /supervision process picked up this issue, so not really bad luck just bad established practices.
It’s almost like regulation exists for a reason.
