Can’t say I agree. Most people don’t seem to critically evaluate their purchases, especially expensive ones. I’ve gotten tons of bad advice from people that just bought into the hype on some shiny thing they saw a commercial for or a influencer talking about. People are fools. I try not to buy anything I haven’t laid hands on myself.
People are these days through things like carvana “we’ll deliver the car you pick online straight to you front door” (grabs the one in the back that won’t sell because of the loud AC and it rides a bit wonky, hoping your need of a car out weighs the hassle of sending it back)
When do I move in?
Seriously though, sex before marriage is just what sane people do. Do you buy a car before you test drive it?
there are definitely people who preorder cars
Lots of people have boundaries about sex before marriage for moral reasons. That doesn’t make them insane.
If they try to force you into doing the same, that makes them assholes.
Yes, if you have heard from other people that this car is a pleasure to drive ;)
Uh, do you buy a car from a phone number scrawled on the inside of a porta-potty?
That geo prism lasted me through college.
that’s complicated or am I getting it wrong?
What is a pleasure for one, may not be for you. Different folks, different strokes.
The probability that it would be for me too is higher. We are all people, after all.
