Right now I’m watching the latest seasons of both Silo and Reacher. Both are great, although Silo is a slow burn, but it’s worth it. It’s really great.
Reacher is just easy action.
I watched Widow’s Bay on Apple recently, and LOVED it.
I also realized this week, that I’ve been watching Fallout, about the population being confined to underground vaults, wondering what’s happening outside, and Silo, about the population being confined to underground silos, wondering what’s happening outside, and Paradise, about the population being confined to an underground town, and wondering what’s happening outside.
I think I have a type.
Dragon Ball Daima. Not watched DBZ in a long time but thoroughly enjoyed it, basically binged it.
Ted Lasso. The new womens football angle seems like it could be a good breath of fresh air.
The Agency. On episode 2, love me a spy drama. The spy aspect seems very good!Still watching Silo. Still fast forwarding through the “current day” storyline. They spent 30 minutes of last week’s episode on two characters talking in a self-driving car. 🙄
They better do something very good with the current day plotline…

Hard Knocks
This season so far has been great, the team has a lot of great personalities and the head coach is excellent.
This past episode it highlighted how a bunch of team shadow box with each other and damn that was great!

The Deadliest Catch
I started watching this show decades ago, grew tired of it and quit watching it 15+ years ago. There isn’t much on so for something to watch while doing evening chores, I checked out the latest season. It is impressive how the show reinvented itself. It is still based around the fishing vessels and crews but damn the show is so much better and pulling you into the action.
We’re close to the next weekly thread, but the Lanterns premier was pretty good, even if post-modern “No capes!” stuff is becoming a subgenre all its own. Kyle Chandler should have been a bigger star.
I liked “Mum”. It starts as a comedy about a weird family, but turns into a nice love story and family portrait, also about handling grief.
I just finished Platonic season 2. It’s an easy watch for the end of the day wind down. Some silliness in season 2 but still ticks the box for end of day viewing for me.
Season 3 is filming currently.
