Or plan to get one some day? It was a big thing with my parents, but I’ve never seen them in anyone else’s homes.

It is just one of those “Boomer” things nowadays?

Boomer thing. My MIL keeps trying to give us hers but we don’t have the space or the need for plateware that will never be used.
