“Leaked” is a word which here means the footage was deliberately and clandestinely released through back channels, to drum up interest by telling people they’re not allowed to watch it.
Yea rockstar has figured that they don’t even need to show official gameplay - they can pretend to be secretive and reveal stuff through leaks and drama. They’re overdoing it and won’t be surprised if it starts backfiring.
