I love how they call it “nudify”. I wish the AI tits n’ bits community would have chosen a funnier word like “entitification” or “pusspainting” so the news felt they had to call it that instead.

Nothing will beat the legends who came up with “teledildonics” though.

Ads are basically how all the bad things on the internet propagate. I do not understand the people that are technically savvy but do not run ad blockers in 2026. I wish the companies showing the ads were actually held accountable for what the ads showed so maybe they would care about shit like this.

They’re pretending that they’re still in 2008 where a basic word or letter swap in the copy wouldn’t trigger the blocklist.

Facebook 100% knows about those ads and is willing to be complicit in the scams for pure profit.

With the massive datacenters running their useless LLMs there’s no way that they couldn’t detect those ads.

Nudes classification predates LLMs by decades. Its accurate, and dirt cheap, because it had to be to detect CP.

You can bet Lemmy.world uses it. Plenty of smaller companies do it. Pick any NSFW picture on CivitAI, and you can see how insanely accurate autotagging has gotten.

So, no… this was not an accident on Facebook’s part.

I doubt this is about “attraction” (quotes because that is too nice a word). Much more likely they want compromising material to gain a political advantage. No less despicable, probably more so.

I was wondering wtf would want that, but then realised like half of Facebook is just X and Boomer tribes consuming politicalpy-themed slop.

I can’t think of a female politician I would want to see nude. Morbidly curious me wants know what female politicians are being nudifidy.

The former AZ senator, the turncoat, she is objectively attractive. She is the only one I can think of.
People liked Michelle Bachman on the right at least, i never did but that was a long time ago.

Old dickheads liked that McCain running mate too, that folksy talking woman from Alaska, Sarah Palin.

        I can’t think of another.

You seem to have a real weird thing for Kyrsten Sinema and strangely can’t figure out her name…

Most men find Sinema attractive, because she objectively is, for an older woman.

Still weird you brought her up twice and refused to lookup her name. Also, no one else is bringing her up (either because they disagree or they’ve never even heard of her).

It’s like the make out sessions with my bros. Just yell ‘no homo’ after and you’re legally not gay.

You did? I sincerely doubt Meta can compel AOC’s consent.

If they could, I’d be in that audience, too.

She’s not Republican, though, so her morals aren’t available for the highest bidder. The target audience you’re looking for is almost certainly Republican: they are used to their politicians being for sale, and even if they can’t acquire consent they’re of the “fuck your feelings” philosophy so it doesn’t actually matter if you have their consent.

Creeps want that. Anyone who wants to watch nonconsensual pornography is a creep. Much as rape is often about power more than sexual desire, I suspect many of these creeps want to see a politician they dislike in a degrading situation.

That is 99% fucking gross. Nevermind for a minute about how it’s wrong. What is the target market for seeing a bunch of geriatric fascist tools naked?

Fucking gross. That former senator from AZ, what’s that turncoat’s name, she is a rare exception. Who else, I can’t think of another female politician that the public would want to see naked.

Maybe zuck whacks off to nancy pelosi deep fake nudes?

Anyone with that app on their device is a dangerous pervert, so it would be cool if a new app promising the same features appeared but it just doxxes everyone who installs it.

All these apps basically dox all of their users. Just not to us, to data brokers that buy that information wholesale.
