honestly Wezterm or Konsole is all you need if you want to multiplex or like I do is just patch ST to the point where it’s pretty much the same only a lot lighter.
Konsole is a fantastic terminal that a lot of people sleep on.
Konsole has been so good for me. The only reason I’ve ever had to look into other terminal emulators has been to satisfy my curiosity.
The only thing I feel it’s missing is hardware acceleration. That’s not really significant for most workloads, though. But if you frequently do things that would benefit from being hardware accelerated, then you might want to look for another terminal emulator, either instead of Konsole, or just to complement it.

Konsole is a great terminal. very easy to customize and one of the best/easiest to use scrollbacks.
