I’m very sensitive to heat, so when my pups adjust position it always wakes me up, and I want to kick them out of bed but it would be way too unkind, so I am dealing with it until my body adjusts. Thankfully that’ll be less of an issue once summer’s passed.
I have the opposite problem.

Had a chihuahua that was a master of sniluggling up to my chest, then extending her tiny legs between my ribs making me scoot over.
In a few hours I’d be teetering on the edge of the mattress while the 6-pound princess had the whole bed to herself.
Must be instinctive. :D
