How do you deal with hyperfixations taking over your life?
Sometimes I’m afraid of doing new things because I can become so obsessed, I abandon necessary jobs and routines for like 2 weeks and then I need to build momentum back, it pisses me off a lot

Currently im very into learning about the things i have been using everyday… Started with ssh, im currently on IPv4 and TCP specs to implement them.
Currently very fascinated that IPv4 has optional flags for security classification, like you can mark a packet as top secret. Part of me wants to request a webpage with them set and see if anything cares… based on what i have read i don’t expect anything to care since the additional header fields are protocol specific.
I get fixated with disabling IPv4 altogether because it’s old garbage.
yeah, IPv6 is better, but we are still waiting.
