There are real concerns within the Australian government about what US President Donald Trump is doing in regards to sanctioning the International Criminal Court, government sources tell the ABC.

Australian officials say they are dismayed by the Trump administration’s ongoing assault on the International Criminal Court.

The Trump administration has sanctioned several ICC lawyers and announced fresh sanctions on ICC president Tomoko Akane.

The government has also been quietly maintaining contact with Australians working at the ICC who might be targeted by future US sanctions.

    Well, I’m glad (some) Australian politicians are against this one of many moves by the US/Israel alliance to visibly show they can dismantle the international community and law the way they are butchering their respective nations of origin. They have to be shown they cannot bully their way out of responsibility.
