I don’t know enough about the evidence but I’ve read they charged him with crimes that didn’t fit? Was evidence weak? Any ideas?

      Not really- from my understanding the issue with the sex trafficking charges were that there wasn’t any explicit proof of the two women saying ‘no’, or being coerced into it. You’d have the exact same problem proving sexual assault.

        Could well be right. I agree coercive control is difficult cos it’s a pattern and victims “willingly” do things. SA can be a one off crime so it can be easier. You may be right though
