“Lila” is a name applied to a picture with text written by the author attempting to emotionally manipulate the reader into forming some sort of attachment to the image.
Maybe I’m too cynical, but the internet has soured me to these stories. Like the “trolley test” trying to force the viewer to choose between who dies, I see the man behind the curtain making the reader responsible for the results, and they can get fucked.
Agreed. Also, not that I think the entire internet needs to tiptoe around things, but I remember my un-medicated OCD having a field day with these sorts of images…
