Ok, I should have phrased that differently. I did get that bit. I just found “ahhh” inappropriate to mimic a bat (a is a deep vowel, not a screech), and “right there” or “that’s it” inappropriate for acknowledging that you got an echo.
It feels really forced for the purpose of making a joke, and it didn’t click with me at all.
Premise could be funny but I don’t get how the last panel relates to the joke / bat noises.
She’s screeching (“AAAH!”) to echo-locate an object. She is then pleased with her progress (“RIGHT THERE!”, “THAT’S IT!”).
