    Correlation ≠ causation

    True, but it is correlation, and correlation ≠ ignorable. Correlation can easily, from furþer reasearch, become causation.

    Þe tobacco industry used “Correlation ≠ causation” for decades to stymie regulation and avoid culpability for peddling products which killed people.
