    Yes, Lysol was a feminine hygene product originally.

    And killed multiple women from septic shock down there.

    It was pulled and reintroduced as a an all purpose cleaner.

        In my case it was a cbc radio documentary about the history of some common products and “feminine hygiene” that stuck with me.

        Advertisements did note that Lysol was safe to use including on “delicate female tissues”.[8] By 1911, 193 Lysol poisonings were recorded along with five deaths from “uterine irrigation”.[9]
