    Left my last job and they really pushed AI. Everything had to be AI and it has to be shoved in everywhere. It was mostly awful. Few places it helped was to complete bullshit HR tasks that we had been complaining about ever since they were introduced as a waste of time.

      Network engineer here. My main use case for AI at the moment is for ticket management and as a glorified search engine.

        As long as it isn’t based on and continually trained on privacy violations, stolen property, and a continually growing list of ethical transgressions against humanity in a race to the bottom to fulfill greed and laziness in an irresponsible ethical laundering that I guess requires just a little too much brain power to make the leap to comprehend for certain types of people.

        But, you know. It’s fine, I guess. Chase those dollar signs and defend those perfect infallible and unexamined systems, boss.
