Great example of why cloud gaming should never be a thing.
That doesn’t sound very “ultimate”
They mean ultimate as in this is the last gaming effort from them and they’re ready to throw in the towel
“Because of the growing cost as more people use it for longer”
What’s the over/under that the real reason is they’re scavenging some of the servers for Copilot?
All the server Costs skyrocketing because of slop. We had it all man. 24/7 walmarts, $1 mcchickens, 30 dollar tb HDDs.
“Back in my day we had better tech for less.”
“Whooooah! Tell us more about past times, grand papa! What was a terabyte like? Did you have your own console too?”
“Why, yes. In our living rooms. I actually had two, but many people had more.”
“Whoooooah!”
That should be more than enough screen time for any gamer living a healthy balanced lifestyle. /s
So, how long until they shove ads in for an extra hour of playtime?
“Drink Mt. Dew can for verification”
Verification can not recognized. Drink verification can.
The ads will probably count towards your streaming time.
Don’t give them IDs
Ideas? Trust me, they’re already thinking of it. Sharma has been talking about how gaming is becoming too expensive for consumers and that’s code for “get ready for ads and financing” as far as I’m concerned
anyone who gives money for this garbage deserves to get fucked
Makes sense, doubt anyone who has time to play games daily really wants to stream
This is a feature I never used on Gamepass. I’ll continue to intermittently subscribe to play the big titles for a significant discount. If you don’t need to own absolutely everything that you play, the service still makes sense.
Certainly glad I only played Halo Campaign Evolved on GP because that game was not worth $50.
Hoping Gears of War is better but I’ll still only play it on GP.
My significant discount is to wait a couple years for a 70% off sale on steam and be able to play it years later when i want XD
I doubt it will be worth it. I honestly thought it was a pretty awful experience performance wise. MCC is far and away the better way to play Halo.
