    Why wouldn’t you put them on the grid? The point of a grid is to have more robust and reliable energy distribution.

    How about they need to spend some of their trillions on solar and wind (and batteries) that are connected to the grid so they’re adding electricity generation to the grid that’s equal to the their energy consumption?

    That way when the bubble inevitably bursts, we can shut down the dirtier forms of electricity generation since there will be an excess of clean energy.
