Students in Iran can no longer take English-language proficiency exams after the suspension of a US sanctions exemption. Applicants say the move threatens university deadlines and adds costly travel obligations.
I was not aware of that. I guess the other English countries are going to have to look into alternative assessments to switch to, since the U.S can’t be trusted to make them open and available to anyone.
If the U.S does it do Iran , they can do it to anyone at any time.
And as petty as trump is, you know he will.

Next will be China to restrict Chinese students from coming here. Or India. All the other middle eastern countries except Israel, of course. Mexico.
My heart really goes out to all Iranians trying to make it out. A lot oft embassies have halted their services for the time being and now this. It must feel terrible to be stuck in a country targeted by the military hegemon.
