I’ll start by saying I loved the musical episode. Don’t think it would, but I was very wrong. Watching season 4 now, and I have to wonder, are they just making the show all gimmick episodes now? Each episode isn’t bad on its own, but I really wish they would get back to telling Star Trek stories.

    I don’t like them. I didn’t watch the puppet episode, and I didn’t watch the musical episode. I shut off both as soon as I realized what they were.

    But, I guess some people like them, so they keep making them. I don’t know.

      I really didn’t think I would like the musical, but it was actually pretty good… and it was a one off that season. It’s not that I don’t like the finicky episodes, I’m just not really enjoying a whole season of them!
