    I mean I think they figure those things out off sight and initial body language etc… generally they do the sniffing asses after they’re already pretty confident it’s a dog. I think more of “how’s your mood right now, are you healthy, what are you up to”. I don’t now fully what information they get, but it’s stuff we don’t really think about.

      Dogs communicate primarily physically.
