Try Debian based Linux Mint with the KDE plasma desktop environment. Linux has its issues but they’re honest issues. Linux has hiccups because a bunch of volunteers are trying to build an airplane while flying it, while Windows has a bunch of C suite goons purposely creating a hostile user environment to monetize you for every red cent.
I see a lot of comments poopooing people that use this software but offer no alternatives…

Once you install linux mint without having to make an account of any kind you’ll wonder why you put up with windows.
On the fediverse it’s pretty much a given that most people use linux over Windows. (Or instead any big tech software realy)
As far as linux goes, pick whatever suits you. Or openbsd, templeOs,… come on get your feet wet already. Windows is boring.
