As someone who personally deflated the Periphery singer’s ego after they mooned us while we were queing outside, and he told us to “Buy merch between sets because we need to leave before the show is over” fifty fucking times before I yelled “SUCKS TO BE YOU”, I agree with the former.
If it matters that much to you, write a song about it. Otherwise, shut the fuck up about your personal beefs.
Napalm death did great. Barney proselytised a little bit ABOUT the song’s message before going into it. “Friends, there are many people in this world, still oppressed by slave labour conditions. This song is about them ‘ARGH ARGH BLAAAAARG!’”
It got even better when they went into the older, very short grindcore songs. He just screamed the title before they went into it for like 30 seconds.
