I fear every religion and society that imposes that on children suffers from a very sordid case of “author’s kink”. If you’re born with it and are not suffering from it, there is absolutely no fucking reason in the universe to cut out the foreskin of a boy or the clitoris of a girl. What the absolute fuck, mankind.
It’s viewed as either a cultural or religious tradition. Both of these are hard to pull your head away from once you’re raised in that situation, but it is possible. There are likely some cultural or religious practices most of us follow that might be viewed as bad by the masses in a few generations, like eating meat. Or at least lamb/veal.

If it’s something you chose on your own at an age when you were capable of making decisions for yourself, I have no objection (or if it was because of a phimosis, etc). If that decision was taken from you, then I think it’s mindless sexual mutilation, and that one cannot regret what one has not experienced. But it’s good that you have no problem with your peen being cut or not, buddy.
