I do that myself on occasion, but I seldom boil much stuff. A lil beef or chicken stock is good in mashed potatoes or in rice, but most of the time , unless I’m making a soup I use powdered bullion. It tastes better. Not even just my opinion. Blind taste tests always have most people prefer the “fake” stuff.
Really? I’d love to see some actual studies on people blind taste testing things made with stock vs. powdered bouillon. Do you have any links you can share?
