2012 was peak rage comics. I remember scrolling f7u12 for hours on end. Then one day, it was like a switch flipped and they were all terrible. Almost like post-nut clarity. I don’t know if I changed or if they changed. But they instantly became unfunny.
I agree; I was thinking the exact same thing. Maybe the original creator of this image lived somewhere where what memes were popular there was lagging a few years behind everyone else, haha.
Some of that feels much more ~2008ish. But given the lifecycle of memes back then, they still weren’t considered antiques in 2012…
