Like, we took a fly, sliced it’s brain into million of slices, scanned each slice and rebuilt its exact neuron configuration in software, then, ran that software inside a video game engine wiring up the nervous system to the video game character’s inputs and outputs, and the fly started crawling around in the video game and drinking sugar water…
Thats fucking crazy, in virtually all senses of the word.
No, there was a different thing. It was a repair station, and it kidnapped people as the price for the repair, by making it look like they died in an accident. Then their brains ran the thing.

Now this is crazy. I was not aware we did this. I guess the next step would be to do a more advanced animal and go from there.
