The oldest tech I have are laptops from 2006, 2008 and 2009, a pc from ~2010 and an android phone from around 2012. I also have lots of newer stuff.

I’ve already built a home server from the most suitable pc. What other real use cases for old tech would you suggest? What is your experience?

    I think old motherboards make nice wall decorations. Just hang them like a picture. Even non-technical people are fascinated by raw silicone. And people get a kick out of removing/installing RAM sticks and CPUs.
