Made America Great Again?
Im not so much exhaused as I would just like one month where something expensive doesn’t break. I had to spend $400 on one vehicle, then $200 on another, then my EV gave me an error and its a problem I could easily fix but nobody sells the parts, and then today I was going to work and my motorcycle broke down and it needs, you guessed it, a $300 part.
Yes it would be really cool if there was some kind of public transport.
This is the point of all the chaos. You can’t fight back now. Stay vigilant, maintain awareness, and keep on, keeping on.
Every day I wake up and surprise myself with how unbelievably resilient I have become
A childhood of constant trauma and stress has prepared me for exactly this
My dad died shortly before Trump was elected. My dad only misses one thing Trump has, and that’s money/assets. He was as lecherous, insulting, and just mean spirited as they could come. So when he died I thought “Okay, the trauma is truly gone now.” Then they elected MOTHERFUCKING TRUMP!
I wish I could say the same. I’m at my breaking point.
A lot of us are. Stay with us, we need you.
You and me both. Fucking monsters are back.
I’m gonna go down to the Winchester, have a pint, and wait for this all to blow over.
You voted (or sat at home) for this.
29% were too tired to reply, or concerned that their employer would fire them for being exhausted.
Cmon now its more like 28%, that last 1% is why we all get to work so hard
yea

That’s how you keep a work force from rebelling. Bone deep exhaustion.
Exhausted…poor and uneducated.
No shit I am burned out and ready to just quit and live in my Suv for 4 to 5 months and just travel around trying enjoy life.
For fucksake there are vanlifers living better life then I am!!
Maybe you should have spent more of your time advocating for your interests against the wealthy and powerful who are making you into exhausted slaves and early corpses.
We’re going to look back at this current time of exhaustion as “the good days before it got worse”.
I “joke” all the time: Now that I’ve been laid off from work, I’ve never been busier. I can’t even say all the extra stuff crept up on me, per se, it’s been like the concept of punctuated equilibrium where there are sudden and dramatic new tasks/projects/responsibility falling in my lap all at once, things will maintain at that level for a bit, maybe looking at getting a break soon, then the next set of things comes at me.
So, yes, I’m exhausted. Fortunately some of this will be resolved soon, at least enough of it that I’ll actually have the time to brush up my skills, polish the resume, and get back out into the job market. Might need a vacation first, though.
My levels of apathy have increased. And the amount of schadenfreude I have enjoyed has increased. Not towards others but I’ve been enjoying companies close down. For example I’ve stopped taking service calls, there’s a huge shortage of people that repair things, and well it leads to them shutting down.
